A Message From Mayor Adams:
Each week DVS shares a brief update about how our administration is getting stuff done for New Yorkers.
Our administration works every day to create a more affordable city, and that means continuing to create more housing. Last week, we released the 100 Gold RFP, as part of our “Manhattan Plan” to add 100,000 new homes to the borough over the next decade. The city-owned site will be transformed into a residential building, creating more than 1,000 mixed-income homes with a minimum of 25 percent required to be affordable housing, and redevelop the building’s existing older adult center. We have a generational housing crisis, and the only way out is to build more housing. No matter where you are in your housing journey, DVS has the resources you need to get where you're going. Our housing team is standing by to connect New York City Veterans to the housing services that are right for them. Visit nyc.gov/vetconnect to connect to housing services.
