1. Students: Take the 2021 Student Experience Survey

Many individuals across the campus are working to address student feedback whenever possible, but we need to hear from you. We want to know how you’re doing, how we can support you, and what you need to be successful at UT.

We will use these survey results to develop and tailor the support you need right now. Additionally, the UT System and Board of Trustees will continue to review this information to guide future decisions, policy development, and possible resource allocation.

Please take a few minutes to provide your anonymous input by taking the 2021 Student Experience Survey. The survey closes Friday, April 16.

2. Trauma-Informed Care Workshop on April 22

Join the Community Engaged Care Program on Thursday, April 22, 11:00 am – 12:30 pm, for a virtual Social Determinants of Health Intensive workshop on Trauma-Informed Care with Altha J. Stewart, MD, Senior Associate Dean for Community Health Engagement at UTHSC. Trauma-Informed Care is an approach that recognizes the presence of trauma symptoms and acknowledges the role trauma may play in an individual’s life. Providing trauma-informed care emphasizes respecting and appropriately responding to the effects of trauma at all levels while avoiding re-traumatization. This workshop will provide participants with the skills to recognize trauma symptoms and respond to their effects in a patient-centered approach to care.
