3. Inaugural Multicultural and Global Health Symposium – Saturday, November 6
All faculty, staff, and students are invited to the 2021 Multicultural and Global Health Symposium, which is the inaugural event bringing the UTHSC community, state leaders, and international health experts together to learn more about emerging topics in multicultural and global health. This is an opportunity to explore the breadth and depth of current research at UTHSC and around the world, network with colleagues, and celebrate the achievements of our leaders, faculty, and students.
The theme for this year’s symposium is “Re-imaging Multicultural and Global Health in the Age of COVID”. The keynote speaker will be Carlos Rodriguez-Galindo, MD, who is the Executive Vice President of St. Jude Children's Hospital and Chair of the Department of Global Pediatric Medicine. This event is approved for 6.25 AMA PRA CME credits.
