Dear Friends,

We are excited to introduce our first ever teen listening session. We'd love to hear from teens across the country. If you know a teen who would like to get involved with Sacred Spaces or who would be a great fit to participate or with important ideas to contribute on this issue, please forward the email below to them and their parent(s).

Call for Teen Input on Building Safe and Healthy Jewish Organizations

If you are between the ages of 15 and 17, we invite you to join our first ever Teen Listening Session and share your perspective on ways to prevent and respond to abuse in Jewish youth-serving organizations.

During the Teen Listening Session you’ll have a chance to impact policy recommendations by discussing questions like: How can teachers and principals better integrate youth voices in their decision-making? What ideas - small or big - would radically impact safety in your camp? In what ways might youth directors and rabbis create safe space in the synagogue for children and teens in trouble? What do you need to feel safe and respected in your clubs and youth movements or more simply in your life?

Join us on August 11th 1 p.m. Pacific/4:00 p.m. Eastern

Though we can’t snack and schmooze in person, we’ll send you a $20 gift card, and invite you to purchase your own favorites to bring with you.
