September 2020

A lot has happened since the last edition. As things begin to unlock we're finding that clients are turning to research to assess their new environment and understand their place in it. Read on to find out how research can help you make good decisions - and help us to set Sheena free!

Understanding Your Post-Lockdown Customers

Whatever your business, you'll have had to make changes over the past six months, and your customers or service users may well be displaying different behaviours and attitudes. We can help you understand how you're all getting on. Click through to find out about quantitative research and mystery shopping, which can apply to online engagement as much as to a physical visit!

Cultural Panel: First Survey Results!

The findings of our first Cultural Panel research are now available - click through for 'Coming Out of Lockdown'.
The Scotinform Cultural Panel is made up of cultural audiences from across Scotland and is available for client use. It can be segmented by geography, age, artform preferences and type of household, amongst others. Please contact us if you'd like to know more.

Staff Surveys

Staff surveys have long been a Scotinform staple but we've been noticing increased interest in them just now . With experience across the private, public and third sectors we can provide you with a way to understand and enhance staff wellbeing. As members of the Market Research Society you and your staff can be sure that our work is independent, confidential and trusted. Contact us to find out more.

New Projects

We've been busy over the past couple of weeks conducting online focus groups for Screen Scotland and undertaking a wide-scale data review for Museums Galleries Scotland. We've also been exercising our Mosaic muscles by profiling users of bike share and car share facilities in Scotland for CoMo UK..

In The Dog House!

We always like to go the extra yard for our clients, and later this month Sheena will be taking things even further by participating in a fundraiser for Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home. She'll be 'impounded' unless we can raise enough money to let her out! We'd quite like her back, so if you are able please take the time to visit her fundraising page. Thank you.

Future-Proofed

We know that our clients need up-to-date and timely information, perhaps now more than ever before. We'd like to reassure everyone that we are currently planning all of our work to include a socially-distant contingency, so that it can go ahead regardless of the level of lockdown in Edinburgh or in your location. If you'd like to discuss a research question or issue with us, please do get in touch.
