Good morning,

Our routines have changed drastically in the last few weeks and if experts are correct, things won't be back to normal for months... I sincerely hope wherever you live, you're able to stay safe and support your family.

If your routine has changed like many others, it's critical you exercise discipline and be proactive in scheduling your days. It's important to maintain structure. All of this extra time will trigger a large swing in momentum for negative or positive habits. Which way momentum swings will be based on your diligence..

Just think, in 1 years time (imagining all of this has past us), how would you like to remember this? As an eruption of bad habits or time invested in valuable projects.

Every night, list at least 3 priorities to complete the next day. Make the next three months count by directing yourself toward something valuable to your life.

Wishing you well,

Let's begin.

The Useful & The Interesting

The Beauty Of The Flower

Richard Feynman shares a discussion he had with his friend (an artist) on the beauty of a flower. In this < 2 minute video, Feynman shows us how science and knowledge only increase the beauty of the world around us. Never decrease it.

Different Average Industry Cash Runways

I found this fascinating and relevant.

I saw it on David Perells' Monday Musings Newsletter. Cash runway refers to how long would a business survive if the cash inflows suddenly stopped (for say, a global pandemic).

Taking into account that the lock down is expected to last at least another month (in Canada), it's going to be a rough time for most mom and pop shops.

Now might be the most important time to support your local businesses if you have the ability.

Quotes Of The Month

“There are more things… likely to frighten us than there are to crush us; we suffer more often in imagination than in reality.”
- Seneca

“True happiness is to enjoy the present without anxious dependence upon the future, not to amuse ourselves with either hopes or fears but to rest satisfied, for he that is wants nothing. The greatest blessings of mankind are within us and within our reach. A wise man is content with his lot, whatever it may be, without wishing for what he has not”
- Seneca
