Hello everyone,

We've had some beautiful weather in Vancouver last weekend and I'm loving it. Perhaps a little to much though as I'm fairly burnt... But nothing a little Aloe can't fix.

I've also been working on a few productivity tools to bring to the website before summer ends and can't wait to share them with you guys, stay tuned!

Have a fantastic month and enjoy the sun!

What's New At Go Strive

How To Make Habits Stick - New article on making good habits stick. When changing habits, we often focus everything on the outcome but in that approach, we end up missing a key to effective and stable change.
Favorite Instagram Post - Does it feel like you fail to see opportunities? This will nudge you in the right direction.

Articles I'm Enjoying...

Thoughts On Notebooks - Notebooks are an integral tool to every journey in self development. In this article Cal Newport describes their value beautifully. Here's a excerpt:

"Thoughts, concerns, ideas, aspirations: these flow constantly through our consciousness. Ink on paper puts a stake in the ground that you can cling to amidst this turmoil, enabling you to build some scaffolding on which to organize these musings, while the persistent nature of the medium allows you to witness an evolution of this structure as you fill more pages over time."

If you wish to improve your thinking, you should be journaling/notebooking daily.
How A Florida Couple “Flipped” Their Way To A 6-figure Income - This couple makes 6-Figures by scouring flea markets and selling their finds on Ebay. There's opportunity everywhere!

The Useful & The Interesting

Octomom (Podcast)

This is a wonderful story by Radiolab, here's the caption:

In 2007, Bruce Robison’s robot submarine stumbled across an octopus settling in to brood her eggs. It seemed like a small moment. But as he went back to visit her, month after month, what began as a simple act of motherhood became a heroic feat that has never been equaled by any known species on Earth.
Seneca On How To Manage Your Time (Video) - An animated Youtube video explaining 10 Lessons from Stoicism that help us manage our time. Even though it is over 2000 years old, more and more people are discovering how Stoicism is not only relevant to modern times, but can be applied in very simple, yet strong ways.

This relatable Mandarin term (revenge bedtime procrastination), is a phenomenon in which people who have little control over their daytime life refuse to sleep early in order to regain some sense of freedom during late night hours.

The next day you're wasted.
