Dear <<First Name>>,

We are off to a great start! Since our launch we've been able to offer in-person and online lessons. Our in-person gatherings have primarily happened outdoors. I'd love to hear from you – how do you think our in-person and online lessons have been? Please reach out to me to share any feedback you may have.

Tomorrow (Thursday, September 30) will be Canada's first National Day for Truth & Reconciliation. To commemorate this day Junior Church will be spending the month of October learning about the Indigenous people of Turtle Island through storytelling, art and scripture.

If you are looking for at-home resources check out the links below:

To ensure the safety of children, staff and volunteers, Junior Church will be following the comprehensive Children’s Ministry Check-list for in-person services created by the Diocese of Toronto.

Here’s an overview of the key safety requirements:

  • Classes open to children over four (children under four must have a parent or responsible adult with them);
  • Face masks to be worn at all times;
  • Physical distance of six feet between family groups;
  • Children’s talks from the front pews instead of on the steps;
  • Individual craft supply bags for each student;
  • Activities held outside as much as possible;
  • No food or singing

If you have further questions please feel free to contact me.
