Hello, friends! I may have tuned my kids into roller skating fiends. My son's school had a family skate night on Wednesday, and he begged to go. He and my daughter loved it so much that we went back on Saturday.
I used to go roller skating somewhat frequently when I was in late elementary school, but it's been a few decades since the last time I went. It took my body a while to remember how it all works (and I was never particularly good at it), but I'm pleased to report that the experience is largely unchanged. Sure, some of the music is newer (but there's still plenty of disco), but a skating rink is still a skating rink.
I may have to purchase some skates soon.
