Wow, it’s been a hot week, hasn’t it?! I hope you’ve been able to both enjoy the sun and get some sleep! Just two things from me to update you on this week.
Sunday service update
If you haven’t seen it, please do have a look at Steve’s latest blog post in which he outlines the changes which will be implemented at our in-person services from this Sunday. We are aiming to open things up gradually over the coming weeks.
The key points are that from this Sunday:
We will be able to sing with masks on.
We can remove masks when seated during the sermon.
We will be increasingly relaxed about socialising after the service out on The Green or car park, etc. We are hoping that during August we will be able to serve tea, coffee and some cold drinks outside which will help us to catch up with people.
If you’re yet to return on a Sunday it would be great to see you. I would love to us returning to worship God together as a family. You still need to book in.
We are excited that from Wednesday 28th to Friday 30th July Newday Online is returning! If you are a parent of a young person can I really encourage you to get your young person along to one of these evenings! There will be worship, fantastic teaching and have a lot of fun too.
We will host the evenings at our Lee Site from 7-9.30pm. It is completely free to attend but there will be things to buy from the tuck shop. In order to come along, you do still need to book online and you can do that here.
