Keep getting invited to Ugly Sweater Holiday parties but have nothing to wear?  Want something cozy and slightly ridiculous to keep warm this Hanukkah?  Join JYP for an ugly sweater-making event in honor of the festival of lights!  We'll light the candles (bring your menorah!), sing songs, and help you make the ugly sweater of your dreams.  We promise you'll blow away the compeition with your snazzy outfit this year!
Please bring your own sweater (or another article of clothing) to decorate.  We recommend a non-fluffy exterior, as it's easier to glue on.  Decorating items and stencils will be provided and no artistic skills or crafting experience necessary.

This event will be indoors and masks will be required while not actively eating or drinking.  Snacks will be provided.  Check out our Facebook Event for even more details.
This event is free. Thank you to the Jewish Federation of Greater Ann Arbor and Moishe House Without Walls for making this possible.

Event Chairs: Ariella Hoffman-Peterson and Sarah Posin

Past Events
On Saturday night, November 6th, JYPers enjoyed attending NEXTGen Detroit's annual fundraising event, EPIC!  The event was a fun-filled night at the carnival with an open bar, games, music, food and more!  Thank you to NEXTGen for providing JYP with a reciprocity agreement that allowed donors to the Jewish Federation of Greater Ann Arbor's Annual Community Campaign to attend their event.
On Sunday, November 7th, JYPers enjoyed learning about bike basics with bike expert Joelle Abramowitz. Thank you Joelle for teaching us everything we need to know about choosing the right bike and taking care of it!  See you on the trails!
