US reimposes sanctions on Iran

  • A group of WeChat users calling themselves the WeChat Alliance, filed a lawsuit last month, arguing that the ban would violate users’ due process and free speech rights, claiming that the move disproportionally affects Chinese-Americans


SpaceX delays next satellite fleet launch

  • Citing a “recovery issue,” SpaceX has delayed the launch of a new fleet of internet satellites
  • A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket was scheduled to launch 60 new Starlink satellites for the company's growing “megaconstellation,” though the mission was called off 15 minutes before the planned liftoff
  • SpaceX has not specified the nature of the recovery issue, but it is believed that it is related to the company’s plan to recover the first stage of the Falcon 9 rocket
