Paris city hall fined for hiring too many women

- On Wednesday, multiple outlets reported President-elect Biden will select Brenda Mallory to lead the Council on Environmental Quality. The CEQ has a wide purview over how the federal government evaluates environmental impacts of major projects, policies and land-use decisions
- Mallory is currently the director of regulatory policy at the Southern Environmental Law Center and previously served as the CEQ’s general counsel during the Obama administration

Pence and Biden to receive coronavirus vaccine
- Vice President Mike Pence and Second Lady Karen Pence are set to receive a coronavirus vaccine on Friday, while President-elect Joe Biden is expected to be vaccinated as soon as next week
