March Madness

March is a very busy time of year for our department as many festivals, concerts, and tours fall during this time. Now is a great time to make sure your student's performance attire is in tip top shape and that you double check all scheduled times and make plans accordingly.

March 4th Concert Volunteers

Our Spring Concert is March 4th. If you are interested in volunteering contact our Volunteer Coordinator Kim Lowary. lowary@bonita.k12.ca.us

CHOIR TOUR PARENT MEETING MARCH 11

On March 11th at 6pm in the Lone Hill Music Room we will be having a parent meeting with information for our upcoming choir tours. We will be going over both Lone Hill and San Dimas Tours. This is the perfect opportunity for parents and chaperones to get up to speed on all of the expectations, schedules, and practices of our choir tours. Plan to attend or review the recording made available on our website after the meeting.

Please join our choir department March 4th for our Spring Festival Concert in the Bonita Center for the Arts. Lone Hill will perform at 5pm and San Dimas at 7:30pm. Singers are called one hour before their performance time. Tickets are $7 presale at the ASB Finance Office and $10 at the door.

We will also be drawing the winner of our CANCUN RAFFLE!!! Get your tickets before it’s too late!

Coming Up

Bingo Spots Available May 16

This is a school wide fundraiser that provides groups from athletics to performing arts an opportunity to fundraise money directly into that groups ASB account.Each group is expected to provide 6 workers/night and the group is then given $600 towards their account ($100/person).Bingo is an excellent opportunity to help raise funds for our various choir expenses. Choir Night Angels Stadium April 24th

Our Choir Program will be selling tickets to the Los Angeles Angels vs White Sox game at Angels Stadium on Friday, April 24th, 2020. Singers that attend the game will have the opportunity to sing the national anthem on the field with other choir students from the Southern California area!

Choir students must have a ticket to attend and can purchase tickets for $20. Please note that no student will be excluded from this activity due to an inability to purchase a ticket.
However, we are required to sell 3 tickets for each singer that attends, so friends and family please join us! Fundraiser tickets for this event are available at a discounted rate of $20 per person.

Please ask your student for the details and the paperwork concerning this event. All forms must be turned in to Mr Pugh and ticket purchases be completed in the ASB Finance office by Wednesday, March 18th, 2020.

Disneyland Workshop May 16th

Our Choir Program will be attending a Performing Arts Workshop at Disneyland on Saturday, May 16th, 2020. Singers will have the opportunity to explore backstage at the park and earn how Soundtrack recording works, explore careers in movie recording and experience a real Sound Recording Stage.

Choir students must have purchase a ticket to attend. Please note that no student will be excluded from this activity due to an inability to purchase a ticket. Chaperones must travel with the group both to and from the park. Tickets for this event are available at a discounted rate of $130 per person.

Please ask your student for the details and the paperwork concerning this event. All ticket purchases must be completed in the ASB Finance office by Friday, April 10th, 2020.
