A note from Mr Pugh...
Firstly, I hope this letter finds you and your family well. This has been a crazy time and I've been doing my best to provide support to all of singers and keep them connected to our singing community. As this is my first pandemic I appreciate your patience as I continue to figure out what do in these times. Know that I miss your students dearly and can not wait to make music with them again.I don’t know what the Fall will look like but at this time we are moving full steam ahead for a regular year full of exciting musical experiences for your young musician.
Below you will find a plethora of events and projects to keep our department together and celebrate our Saints. We have projects to honor our Seniors, and a talent show for our whole department. I'm in the process of planning a virtual Choir Banquet/Awards Show to highlight the accomplishments of all our hardworking singers. There are resources to study voice privately virtually. Hopefully this can help fill your day with music and singing while we apart. If you have any questions, or just want to chat, please feel free to email me anytime. This too shall pass.

Event Reimbursement Survey
Thank you for your patience as I navigate how to get our tour funds reimbursed. Our ASB Finance Office is processing event refunds for our Spring Tour, Angels Baseball Game, and Disneyland. To expedite the process our ASB Office has created a survey below.

Senior Shout Outs
I want to showcase each choir senior on our Facebook Page & Instagram Page with an appropriate photo of choice and your answers to the questions attached. Please email j.pugh@bonita.k12.ca.us the photo and information in one email and I will post as they come in. This is to celebrate your student!

Senior Virtual Choir
We will be recording a virtual choir of our Seniors singing the Alma Mater on Thursday May 7th @3pm via Zoom. Students are encouraged to practice with recordings in the link below.

SDHS Talent Show
We are hosting a virtual Talent Show for all San Dimas students. Deadline to submit is Saturday May 9th. More info can be found below.

Online Voice Lessons
If you've ever thought about taking voice lessons I've compiled a list of my colleagues who are giving virtual voice lessons during this time. These are all accomplished artists and teachers who have specializations such as Pop/Rock, Musical Theater, Classical, Studio Recording,Choral.. If you want a recommendation be sure to reach out to me.

Weekly Meetups
I continue to host weekly social hours for all of our choir students every Wednesday at 3pm. Be sure to check Google Classroom for the link and stay connected with your fellow singers.

Virtual Choir Banquet
I will be hosting a Virtual Choir Banquet later this month to highlight and celebrate our singers. Keep an eye out for an email on that too.

Drop Off Day
I am working with our administration to schedule a drop off day for all choir dresses, folders, ties, etc... and allow you to pick up any choir pictures that you ordered. Keep your eye out for an email letting you know the date and time.
