Sunday Service and this Week's Devotionals
Promise Keeper -- Our Faithful God

Be with us this Sunday morning at 10:45 for our Sunday service as we continue our new series, "Promise Keeper -- Our Faithful God."  This Sunday's message is, "The Promise of Provision."

Our kids also have an online Sunday service of their own at 10 AM on Facebook and YouTube, and we have a Youth Live service at 11 AM on Sundays on Instagram under awaken_vineyard..

Continuing on the theme of "Promise Keeper -- Our Faithful God," be with us Monday through Friday, June 15-19, at 9 AM, for our Daily Devotionals. We hope that you can take advantage of hearing and meditating on the Word of God daily.

Discerning the Will of God
Our prayer posture can help us better prepare to listen to and learn what God is calling us to do:  "As we grow in our discipleship, we learn that it is a process of learning to not see life through the lens of our brokenness, pride, or sense of control and learning to see life through the lens of God’s eyes, which leads us to freedom, life, love, peace, and accomplishing His will." --Pastor Jimmy

Serving Today & Thursdays through Summer

Volunteers:  If you can, please plan to arrive at 10 AM.
Please plan to join us today – Thursday – for our VV Pop-up food pantry.  This is an ongoing endeavor to bless our community in these difficult times, and we are expecting more people tomorrow than we served last week.
If you can, please plan to arrive at 10 AM.  We have a lot of bags to pack, as well as setting up the food distribution stations, traffic flow, and signage.  If you can’t join us until a little later, we can still use your help.  There’s plenty to do and fun to be had!
Also, please be aware that the forecast says it will be HOT.  We’ll have plenty of cold water available, and the easy-ups will give us some shade.
As usual, if you can’t make it in person, please pray.

We opened our drive-thru ministry last Thursday and served 70 families bags of groceries, complete meal kits, and fresh hot pizza.  Join us to do it again over the next several Thursdays. Click here to see photos from our first day.

Contact Kevin to discuss if you’re interested.

  • Manna Ministry
This will be a companion ministry to our ongoing Manna Food Bank, which continues to operate on Saturdays and always welcomes donations of nonperishable food items: pasta, pasta sauce, boxed macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, jelly, canned veggies, canned fruit, canned meats, cereal, nonperishable milk, etc.  You can drop these off during office hours, Tuesday - Friday, 10 AM-3 PM.

June Bloom Ladies Summer Tea
Saturday, June 27

Ladies, join us for this opportunity to gather and connect, from the comfort of our homes on Zoom at our June Bloom Summer Tea.  Bring your prettiest teacup, mug, or beverage glass.

It would also be fun for each of us to do something creative with flowers: a vase in your frame, flowers in your hair, etc.  After the welcome and announcements, we will have a time of worship, hear brief inspirational messages from three women in our church family, and then go to our "tea tables," AKA breakout rooms, for prayer.

We are in need of table-breakout room "hostesses," who can lead women in sharing prayer requests and praying for each other.  Please let us know if you are willing to be a hostess.

Registration closes Thursday, June 25. Registrants will be emailed with the Zoom Meeting ID and the lyrics for worship.
