Sunday Service
The Gift of Risk: The Radical Yes of Christmas

We are starting a new sermon series for the Advent season, The Gift of Risk: The Radical Yes of Christmas.
Join us in the parking lot or online on Sunday mornings at 11 AM.

Our kids also have an online Sunday service of their own at 10 AM on Facebook and YouTube.

Please go to https://vvinfo.org/fb and www.vvinfo.org/YouTube.

Our Daily Devotionals
Advent Series--The Radical Yes of Christmas

Join us on Facebook and YouTube for our daily devotionals, Monday through Friday, at 9 AM.  You can tune in then or find it later in the day, week, or previous weeks.  Heretofore, our devotionals and our weekly sermon have had the same theme, but we've decided to go deeper and take a new approach with our current devotional series, "The Radical Yes of Christmas," for a 4-week series that covers these topics:

  • Advent Week 2: December 7-11- Facing Your Fear
  • Advent Week 3: December 14-18- Trusting your God
  • Advent Week 4: December 21-25- Letting Love Lead You

We hope that you can take advantage of hearing and meditating on the Word of God daily with this deeper look into the treasure that is the Bible.

Find the devotionals at https://vvinfo.org/fb and www.vvinfo.org/YouTube.

Zoom Prayer Meeting

We do have a couple of families in our church body who are struggling with hard health situations.  We want to join together to come alongside of them and pray for healing and restoration.

Jacob Armenta is still in the hospital battling an E-Coli infection.

Annette Grable is in the hospital after having surgery in her digestive system.  The doctor said he couldn't be happier with her progress, but she will have a long recovery.

Sally O'Connor tested positive for Covid-19.  We want to cover her in prayer so that her symptoms do not get worse and for protection for the rest of the household.

If you are able, please join us via Zoom to pray together THIS FRIDAY, December 4 at 7 PM.

Here are the Zoom meeting details...

Advent Season Sunday Morning Services at 11 AM

Bring your own chair.  We will wear masks and seat socially distanced from each other.  You can also come on by and stay in your car.  We have a wireless transmitter that will send out the audio to the cars.  Community is important and we want to gather around the greatest story of all.  Jesus is the God who came near.  We will continue the online services, but we would also love to see you as well.

Christmas Blessings for Foster Youth

Now through December 10, we are collecting Christmas gifts to bless local foster youth.  Our goal is to provide gifts for 50 youth.  Please contact: Gifts4FosterYouth@gmail.com to see what you can purchase to bless one or a few children.  Once you purchase the gift you can drop it off at the church office during office hours: Tuesday - Friday, 10 AM to 3 PM.

Family Christmas Drive-In Movie Experience
This Holiday season, we invite you and the entire family to celebrate with us at our FAMILY CHRISTMAS DRIVE-IN MOVIE EXPERIENCE on Saturday, December 19th from 5:30-8:45 P.M. Remember the night as you and your loved ones pull into our CHRISTMAS CAR PHOTO BOOTH. In addition to our double feature movie we will also have a special 30 Min LIVE PRE SHOW that includes stand-up comedy, improv, music and variety.  Our Christmas double feature will be CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS and the hilarious comedy ELF, starring Will Ferrell.

Pre-packaged popcorn and treats will be served car side as you enjoy the night sipping hot cocoa. Food will be available to purchase at our delicious Taco Cart. We ask that you please arrive EARLY to get yourself a good parking spot as we anticipate our spaces filling up fast.

Would you like to help? We need volunteers to help us serve Reseda.  Please let us know if you are able to help the team as we anticipate this to be a popular community event during these trying times.  We invite ALL to join us, especially those families with young children. There is no purchase to attend, the event is absolutely FREE. Please email us at info@valleyvineyard.org for more details or to sign up to volunteer.
