Twilight Parking Lot Worship Service

Come on out for our Twilight Parking Lot Worship Service, Sunday, September 27, at 7 PM, for worship, prayer, and communion together.  We will provide individually wrapped communion sets or you may bring your own elements.

Wear your mask and bring your own chairs. Individuals or families should place their chairs six feet apart from other congregants. Please remember that this is a fluid situation and it may be necessary to cancel in the advent of rain or any other circumstance.

We will update you Sunday morning with lyrics for the evening and any new news about our parking lot service here:  vvinfo.org/eveningworship

A Note from Jacquelyn Mendoza
Valley Vineyard's Jubilee Tutoring Center

Dear Valley Vineyard Family,
I am thrilled to share some great news with you - the Jubilee Center is growing! The Lord has gifted us with FIVE new students, in addition to the 8 who were already part of our ministry!
Jubilee has remained active during the COVID-19 crisis; we have never shut down. Our wonderful tutors and I have been meeting regularly with students via Zoom, for both homework help/academic support and Bible lessons. We have also been meeting with parents on Zoom.
But this wonderful news has presented a situation that we need YOUR help with: WE NEED MORE SPONSORS!!! Sponsors are the awesome people - like YOU! - who work "behind the scenes" to make Jubilee possible: they commit to praying daily for a particular child, as well as committing to pay $30 each month to help cover the costs of running the program. We will provide you with quarterly updates of your child's successes and challenges academically, spiritually, emotionally, etc. At present we are seeking six new sponsors. Would you consider blessing a child with your sponsorship? From the bottom of my heart, thank you and may our Good Lord bless you richly!
If the Lord puts sponsorship on your heart, you can go to our app or online to vvinfo.org/give to donate a recurring gift with Jubilee Tutoring Center as the cause.

Ever Gratefully Yours,
Jacquelyn Mendoza

Serving Every Thursday, noon to 1 PM
We need Volunteers!  Please Contact Kevin if you can serve.

The VV Pop-Up Food Pantry is open Thursdays at 12 noon until 1 PM in the main parking lot. If you or anyone you know can use a bag of groceries in these difficult times, come on by.  Our team is ready to serve.

If you want to volunteer to help at the VV Food Pantry, please arrive at 10:30 AM on Thursday morning to help pack groceries and set up for food distribution.

Donations are also welcome.  Monetary donations can be made by check or online.  Please write “drive-thru food pantry” in the memo section of the check or the online form.

Food donations can be dropped off at the office, which is open from 10 AM till 3 PM, Tuesday through Friday.

Contact Kevin if you’re interested.

Please note:  This weekly food pantry is intended to help with food supplies for those impacted by the COVID pandemic and resulting economic fallout.  We plan to remain open every Thursday until the crisis is past and the need has been met.

Manna Ministry
Manna Food Bank continues to operate on Saturdays and also welcomes donations of nonperishable food items: pasta, pasta sauce, boxed macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, jelly, canned veggies, canned fruit, canned meats, cereal, nonperishable milk, etc.  You can drop these off during office hours, Tuesday - Friday, 10 AM-3 PM.
Manna info:  818-343-3626 or info@valleyvineyard.org

VV Helping Hand Fund
We’ve setup a Helping Hand Fund to help those in our church community that are struggling through this pandemic and to help fund our outreach of extending the love of God to our neighbors.  If you feel led to contribute to this new fund, please do so above and beyond your regular tithes and offerings.  In Zelle, by text, on our app, or on our website, you can add a note for this ministry.  If you're writing a check, you can write Helping Hand Fund or Drive-Through Pantry in the memo.

Zoom Virtual Connect Groups
There's a Zoom group for you!  Check out our many weekly Zoom Connect Groups throughout the week. We want to encourage you to go against the natural tendency to withdraw during a crisis.  We need each other.  You will see life when you seek to connect with God and His Body. And there's something about seeing each other's smiling faces--no masks needed! Go to vvinfo.org/vgroups to see the different groups available.
