Sunday Service and this Week's Devotionals
Promise Keeper -- Our Faithful God

Be with us this Sunday morning at 10:45 for our Sunday service as we continue our new series, "Promise Keeper -- Our Faithful God."  This Sunday's message is, "The Promise of Pardon," and Pastor Dan Keenan will be speaking.

Our kids also have an online Sunday service of their own at 10 AM on Facebook and YouTube, and we have a Youth Live service at 11 AM on Sundays on Instagram under awaken_vineyard..

Continuing on the theme of "Promise Keeper -- Our Faithful God," be with us Monday through Friday, June 8-12, at 9 AM, for our Daily Devotionals. We hope that you can take advantage of hearing and meditating on the Word of God daily.

New Blog Post
Reconciliation in Times of Racial Conflict

It is impossible to not have heavy hearts at this time, to wonder what can be done to heal our people and our land, to play a part in change as the Lord's hands and feet, and perhaps while not knowing where to begin or how.  Pastor Jimmy shares his heart in a way that will resonate with many of us and offers tools and resources for the journey of reconciliation.  Read the post here on our website.

We're Ready To Go--Let's Serve!

"Some people have been asking when we are reopening for church service and my answer at this time is we 'reopened' this past Thursday.  If you want to be the church, join us on Thursdays."  --Pastor Jimmy

We opened our drive-thru ministry last Thursday and served 70 families bags of groceries, complete meal kits, and fresh hot pizza.  Join us to do it again over the next several Thursdays. Click here to see photos from our first day.

  • Join us to serve.  Please arrive at 11 AM for setup and staging.  We will direct people to line up at our distribution station and start distributing groceries around noon.
  • We need volunteers to solicit donations from local businesses – markets, pizza places, Target and Walmart stores, etc.  Please consider volunteering for this.  You can do this wherever you do your regular shopping.  Contact Kevin to discuss if you’re interested.
  • Above all, please pray for this new venture.  The VV has prayerfully considered how we can be a blessing to our neighbors during this time.  We believe that God is in this, and we pray for his continued direction and favor.

Contact Kevin Grable for more information and/or to volunteer:

Manna Ministry
This will be a companion ministry to our ongoing Manna Food Bank, which continues to operate on Saturdays and always welcomes donations of nonperishable food items: pasta, pasta sauce, boxed macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, jelly, canned veggies, canned fruit, canned meats, cereal, nonperishable milk, etc.  You can drop these off during office hours, Tuesday - Friday, 10 AM-3 PM.
Manna info:  818-343-3626 or info@valleyvineyard.org

VV Helping Hand Fund
We’ve setup a Helping Hand Fund to help those in our church community that are struggling through this pandemic and to help fund our outreach of extending the love of God to our neighbors.  If you feel led to contribute to this new fund, please do so above and beyond your regular tithes and offerings.  In Zelle, by text, on our app, or on our website, you can add a note for this ministry.  If you're writing a check, you can write Helping Hand Fund in the memo.

Valley Vineyard Helpline
We care about our Vineyard Family and want to be available.  We have a helpline and team ready to reach out.  Call us or text the word HELPLINE to 818-776-9696 if you need help with getting groceries or picking up prescriptions. You can also go to vvinfo.org/helpline to reach us.

Let Us Know if You Have Prayer Requests
Prayer is a high value at the Vineyard and we take prayer requests seriously. We do take time to pray for all the needs. If you have prayer requests, you can text the word PRAY to 818-776-9696 or go to vvinfo.org/pray

Zoom Virtual Connect Groups
We have many weekly Zoom Connect Groups throughout the week. We want to encourage you to go against the natural tendency to withdraw during a crisis.  We need each other.  You will see life when you seek to connect with God and His Body. And there's something about seeing each other's smiling faces--no masks needed! Go to vvinfo.org/vgroups to see the different groups available.

Live Phone Stream--A way for all "To Attend"

We are excited about a new service we are offering people who do not have internet at home. They can still join in and enjoy the Sunday services through a mobile phone or home landline. Simply dial the toll free number 844-988-8814 at 10:45 AM on Sundays. They can also call in advance and press 1 to get a call when the Sunday service goes live. If they miss the service at the time when it is live, they will still be able to listen to the service by dialing the number anytime during the week. Pass this news on to those you know who may need this service.
