This Week

Sunday Service
Parking lot and online services

We are continuing our seven-week sermon series titled, The Good Life: Grace, Godliness, & Good Works.  For the next few weeks, we will be studying the Book of Titus.

Jimmy Reyes will be preaching this Sunday 2/14.
The sermon title is, "The Grace of God..." based on Titus 2:11-15.

Join us in the parking lot.
Bring a facemask and chair or participate
from your car and tune into 87.9 FM.

We will also continue our online service.
Both options begin every Sunday morning
at 11 AM.

You can access the the song lyrics at vvinfo.org/morningworship and the sermon notes/discussion questions are available on our church app.

Our kids also have an online Sunday service of their own at 10 AM on Facebook and YouTube.

Please go to https://vvinfo.org/fb and www.vvinfo.org/YouTube.

Online Parenting Class

Does it appear to you that raising children in our current era seems to require a great deal more energy than raising kids did in our parents’ and grandparents’ generations?  Why is it so much more difficult to bring kids up today?

NEXT Sunday, February 21st, a group of parents will begin a six-week study of John Rosemond’s guide, Parenting by the Book, which contrasts previous generations’ focus on bringing up “children of character” with our contemporary child-centric family model.  Our hope is that struggling parents (which in all honesty is pretty much all of us) will find functional models to reclaim their rightful roles as leaders in the home and a community of other parents to discuss the thoughts presented by Focus on the Family author John Rosemond.  Our meetings will be held online through Zoom on Sunday afternoons, from 3-4:30 PM.   We invite all parents to join us in these discussions.  This is also a great opportunity to invite unbelievers since we all need a lot of parenting support in these times.  Sign up at vvinfo.org/parenting

Sunday Morning
Indoor Worship Service

We will resume our indoor services on Sunday, February 21, at 11 AM. Bring a facemask and be prepared to socially distance. If you are not feeling well, please stay home.  Plan on arriving 15 minutes before the service as we do plan on starting at 11 AM sharp since we will continue to broadcast our services live through Facebook and YouTube.

It is necessary to RSVP so that we do not exceed the 25% attendance capacity.  Go to vvinfo.org/rsvp to RSVP.

For the list of indoor guidelines go to: vvinfo.org/regather

Drive-In Movie Event
February 27 @ 6 PM

Join us for our Family Drive In Movie! We will be watching Despicable Me.  Drive on in, find a spot to park, and enjoy the feature film. There will be grilled food, so bring cash! We will provide prepackaged goody bags. Arrive early to find a good spot to park. The parking lot opens at 5:40 PM.

If you are available to volunteer, let us know.  It is a great opportunity to bless families in these difficult times.  We look forward to seeing you!
