Aaaah, we've done Vietnamese food so many times before. It's so refreshing and so good and so easy! Did I say so good?!

Would be a surprise, the,We've done this book before. The context was a little different. This was in Pune. Well before covid. Folks would cook only one day of the month. And meet up for a potluck, of sorts. With dishes cooked from the book.

Now, one, we're agnostic of location. Two, we cook in the comfort of our own homes, for our families. Three, we cook on any day of the month. Me, I'm a little skeptical of cooking Andhra food, in general. I have a horribly low spice threshold. The last time, in fact, that I ate an Andhra meal was in 2013. And I made the fish pulusu from the book a few days ago. Needless to say, both times, I finished what was on my plate, but I cried my eyes out and sniffled away to glory while doing so. But. The book has some super easy recipes, it's critically acclaimed, it's won a handful of awards, it has some gorgeous pictures, not sure what more you need to be convinced to cook from it! :)

I have this gripe about Indian publishing houses - it's very hard to get an epub on the Kindle Store. So you're going to have to buy the book (or then message me on WhatsApp and it's a little bit of a long drawn process, where I send you pictures of the index and you pick a recipe or three and I send you pictures of the recipe). But if that's what works, that's what works!
