New Water Efficient Landscape Rebate
The Washington County Water Conservancy District is helping you save money and water with the new Water Efficient Landscape rebate. Effective immediately, residents and businesses can earn up to $2 per square foot by converting thirsty grass to water-efficient plants, trees and shrubs.
In our desert climate, a square foot of grass typically takes nearly 40 gallons of water annually whereas water-smart plants only need around 10 gallons per year. You’ll save money and water, all while having a colorful, water-smart yard.
Projects must be preapproved to qualify. Click here for details.
