Farmers Feeding Utah Distribution Event

As the Covid-19 pandemic continues and families and individuals continue to struggle with food insecurity, the Farmers Feeding Utah campaign will hold its next ‘Miracle Project’ and delivery of food on Friday, Jan. 29th from 5-7 p.m. in St. George. Just drive through, stay in your car and the food will be loaded into your vehicle. 🚗🥦🍊

Teen Council
Join the 4H Washington County Teen Council for activities and discussions aimed at making the best better. Teen council members are 9th grade - 12th grade! New members are always welcome. Enroll in 4H at https://4h.zsuite.org
January Teen Council will be held at the USU extension office on Monday, February 8th, 4:00 pm-5:30 pm.

IMake Series
Join us for the 4H monthly maker series where 4Hers learn the skills and tools of a maker. The monthly cost is $10 for each Imake series and is for 4Hers ages 11 to 16.
February 11th and 25th 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm Reserve your spot!

Adult Sewing Classes

Time for some 'sew'cializing!

Who: Adults interested in sewing, all experience levels

When: Thursday, February 11, 6:00 pm-7:30 pm 
 

Where: USU Extension Office at the Washington County Legacy Park (county fairgrounds), 339 South 5500 West, Hurricane, UT

What to bring: Please bring a sewing machine and basic sewing notions (thread, scissors, pins, etc.). If you do not have a sewing machine and would like to use one of ours, please reach out to andrea.schmutz@usu.edu or call 435-634-5706 to reserve a machine. (We have limited supply so we prefer that you bring your own machine if possible.)

 

We Need Your Help

The Utah Women & Leadership Project - UWLP is conducting an extensive, in-depth study on the impact of COVID-19 on Utah women in the workplace.

We welcome all Utah women age 20 or older who are either currently employed or unemployed due to the pandemic. The survey will take 20-30 minutes to complete. Dr. Susan Madsen is the primary researcher for this study. If you have questions or concerns, you can contact her at uwlp@usu.edu (USU IRB 11671).
