Editor's Note
Hello from London.

I always find it a bit random that we choose our resolutions in January? Why not in September? Or why not on the 100th day of the year or every 100 days? And why all at the same time? To the last question - I think we all benefit from community and grouped action and so as I reviewed my year and set my goals, I have my family to hold me accountable for what I want to achieve and each of us for each other.

I’m delighted that this week’s newsletter is sponsored by Sanoop Luke, an executive coach. I worked with Sanoop last year to help support me in various areas in my work and personal life. The journey was an excellent one and he helped me distil down and execute on what was important. The sessions are unique to what you want to achieve and I can personally vouch for how effective they are. So if you have some lofty goals for the year, or want to make sure that you stay on track with your work or business Sanoop is your guy. You’ll also find him to really easy to talk to and super smart, he’s ex-Google, so there’s also that! Schedule a free meet-and-greet online to decide if you are a match and mention this newsletter to get a 10% discount if you sign up with him before Valentines Day.

One of my goals for the year was to focus on sleep. I have had a tracker but have now upped my game with an Oura Ring. It's a little pricey but the tracking of sleep and REMs, as well as activity and heart rate variability, is better than I have had before. This link gives you a discount.

There is a lot to review in this edition - more of a summary of reports and reviews I have read and skimmed over the past month rather than a week. Don't get lost down this rabbit hole. Pick what interests you. Equally, if you want to spend a day or ten trying to figure out the state of the world, the reports in the "Must Reads" section will get you up to speed - and up your intellect level!

There will be a lot less included next week, I promise!

If you love this newsletter please forward this email to colleagues or friends or share it on Linkedin, Whatsapp or other groups (Work Slack Groups, Telegram, Facebook, Discord etc.). It would mean a lot and I'd really appreciate it! Most people find out about Box of Amazing from a friend or a colleague. (Some people find me on a list of best newsletters, which is also nice!)

Are you playing Wordle? I'm addicted. The first vice of the year! Iguess it's better than the endless scroll of TikTok.

Stay curious!

Onward! - Rahim
