Hello St. Peter's!

I write you today with wonderful news!
St. Peter's, along with Grace church in Pomeroy, will be teaming up to provide a church home for The Rev. Deacon Joshua Nelson. Rev. Joshua is being appointed to our area for a two-year residency through the Diocese. We will share him with Grace, which means we will also be sharing his salary, a huge savings for both churches during these tough times.
I, along with your Junior Warden, Jennell Oiler, met with Joshua, and representatives from Grace, this morning and signed the Letter of Agreement. He will begin his service with St. Peter's on Sunday, February 14, 2021.
In order to make this arrangement work, both churches had to adjust their service times. St. Peter's will now be staring our service at 9:30 a.m. instead of 10 a.m. This will allow Rev. Nelson to make it to Pomeroy by 11:30 a.m. to begin the service at Grace.
The Vestry will be meeting Thursday, February 11, at 6 p.m. If anyone has any questions or concerns, please feel free to stop by, or message me with questions.
Please don't forget that the Rev. Canon Lee Anne Reat will be presiding over services this Sunday. Come join us for our first in-person service in some time. We have plenty of hand sanitizer and lots of space for social distancing.
Christina has provided the address for the readings for Sunday, in case you can't be there with us in person.
