Online Education Series: "Preparing for the Struggles Ahead"

We've already had the first one, but there are 4 more you can attend. The next one will be on May 6, 2020.

Free but registration required.
Here are the details on how to sign up.

This is a series for people who believe that the key to changing society is building powerful mass social movements and that ecosocialism is the alternative to capitalism we should fight for. If you have questions about these ideas, we suggest you read the book Confronting Injustice or the Belem Ecosocialist Declaration.

Police Violence in Winnipeg

In the past 15 days alone, three people have been killed by police in Winnipeg: Eishia Hudson (16 years old. Killed by police on April 8, 2020), Jason Collins (36 years old. Killed by police on April 9, 2020), Stewart Kelvin Andrews (22 years old. Killed by police on April 18, 2020).

All of these young people were Indigenous and this is an example of the ongoing settler colonial violence Indigenous people experience in the State of Canada.

To help organize and support organizing against police violence in Winnipeg, follow Winnipeg Police Cause Harm on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram.

This group has worked hard to keep the issue of police violence in the foreground and they can use your support.
