Solidarity Winnipeg Day School
Saturday, Feb 15.

The megafires in Australia are just the latest high-profile evidence of climate
change. Yet governments continue to ignore calls for climate justice, and
greenhouse gas emissions keep rising. The global ecological crisis is getting
worse. Everyday life is getting harder for many people. A recession looms.
So it's no surprise that more people are seeing that capitalism itself is the
problem and expressing positive opinions about socialism.

But what exactly is capitalism, and how does it work? Is "green" capitalism
possible? Is it possible to replace capitalism with ecosocialism -- a highly
democratic society based on caring for people and the planet? If so, what
should we be doing now?

Solidarity Winnipeg is organizing a day school to discuss these questions.
It's FREE, but space is limited and advance registration is required.
