Free Tour of Natural History Museum of Utah:

Geoscience majors are invited to a free tour of the Natural History Museum of Utah on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 10:30 AM. The museum is located at 301 Wakara Way in Salt Lake, and we are meeting there.
Please sign up in advance (there are forms in the majors' room & in the dept office), so we know who is joining us. Please contact Judy Smith or Dr. Ford with questions, or last-minute RSVPs.

GeoCorps America™ and Geoscientists-In-the-Parks (GIP):

 The GSA GeoCorps America™ program and the National Park Service Geoscientists-In-the-Parks (GIP) will have Summer 2018 positions posted in early December.
The Geoscientists-in-the-Parks (GIP) program works with partners to match college students and recent graduates age 18 - 35 years old with short-term, paid, internships with the National Park Service. For full information, click on any of these links, or view their program flyer here.
