October Missions Month
Each year we use the month of October to update the church on the work of our mission partners around the world as well as teaching on the importance of missions.
You can catch up on any of the talks you may have missed on our YouTube page.
As part of our missions month we take up an offering that means we can support projects beyond our regular, ongoing support. From this Sunday we will have an offering suitcase at the front of the church. Please pray and consider what you may be able to give to support the growth of God’s Kingdom around the world. This year we will be focusing our offering on supporting indigenous church planters in Africa and supporting the Bentley Family in Spain.
Please also use this month to focus your prayer times on our mission partners. Ask God to provide for them, encourage them and deepen their relationship with Him.

Sunday Lunch Club

The churches of Storrington invite you to the Sunday Lunch Club - a chance to gather over a meal and be with friends, old and new. Open to anyone who would otherwise be on their own or who finds the kitchen a challenge. Tickets are available at The Village Hub or Louisa Austin shop in Church Street for £4. We look forward to welcoming you. Lifts can be arranged if required, please speak to Gloria.

Alpha Course

Today we are holding the fourth session of the Alpha course, entitled “How Can I Have Faith?”, and we would like to ask the Church to continue to pray for this venture.
Would you pray:
1. That the guests have learnt how valuable they are to God, and that the power of sin has been broken.
2. For health protection for the group.
3. That today the guests on the Alpha course invite the Holy Spirit into their lives.

Sparks Toddler Group (Weekly, term time) 10am - 11:30am
There will be lots of toys for the kids to play with, fun crafts, story & song time as well as a bouncy castle. Tea and coffee will be served to adults and a drink and snack for the toddlers. Entry is £1 per child and if it is your first time it is free!
Fireworks Kids Club - Year 3 - Year 5 (Weekly, term time) 6pm - 7:15pm
Wildfires Youth Club - Year 6+ (Weekly, term time) 7:30pm - 9pm
Calling all Youth and Children for our Friday Night Clubs! We will be playing loads of games this week where you will need to work as a team to complete. If you think that you can beat the challenge then come down and show us your stuff.

Community Outreach Activities

In Stitches - Tuesdays, 1:30pm - 3pm
A fun, social group for people who like to stitch. Bring your own knitting, embroidery or another project. If you would like to learn we can teach you!
Bible Encounter - Wednesdays, 10am - 12pm
The group will meet to encourage, pray with one another and explore the Bible, expecting to encounter God through discussions. This is a great seeker-friendly group for those wanting to learn more about the bible.
Baby Club - Thursdays, 10am - 12pm (term time)
Family-focused coffee morning for expectant parents and parents with a new baby. Older siblings are welcome. Come along to this supportive group and connect with others in the community over a cup of tea or coffee.
High Tea - Thursdays (Last Thursday of each month), 2:30pm - 4pm
Come and experience High Tea at The Village Hub. Meet new friends, enjoy some great homemade delicacies while drinking a lovely cup of tea. £3 per head, please book a ticket from The Village Hub in advance.
Thursdays Together - Thursdays when we aren’t hosting High Tea, 2:30pm - 4pm
We would love to see you for a cuppa, come for a game or two, perhaps crafting, or just for a chat. You are very welcome to come along, invite a friend and join in.
Repair Cafe, Saturday 15th October (3rd Saturday of each month), 10am - 12pm
Don't throw away - fix it! Come along with any of your items that need mending.
