Alpha Course

This week we are undertaking a number of sessions on the Alpha course, these are about the Holy Spirit, and we would like to ask the Church to continue to pray for the guests at this critical time of the course.
Would you pray:
1. That the guests will gain a better understanding of what it means to be a Christian.
2. For consistent attendance and health protection for the group.
3. That the guests on the Alpha course will be open to being filled with the Holy Spirit.

GROW Sessions - 1 Corinthians 12-14 Study

During our break from our G.I.F.T Groups which will resume in January 2023, we will be running teaching seminars over four weeks on 1 Corinthians 12-14 looking specifically at spiritual gifts. Please come and join us, booking is not required.

CAP Money Course

In His Presence Worship Evening

An evening given over to pressing into the presence of God through worship.

Sparks Toddler Group, 10am - 11:30am
Chanctonbury Leisure Centre, Spierbridge Rd, Storrington, Pulborough RH20 4BG
There will be loads of toys for the kids to play with, fun crafts, story & song time as well as a bouncy castle. Tea and coffee is available for the adults and a drink and snack for the toddlers. Entry is £1 per child and if it is your first time it is free. There is no need to book in advance.
Fireworks Kids Club and Wildfires Youth Group, 7pm - 9pm
This Friday we will be having a Bonfire Night at Terra Amata Farm.
During the evening we will be lighting a bonfire roasting some marshmallows and cooking up some sausages on the fire while playing a few night games in the dark.

Youth Worship Club
Weekly from Saturday 5th November, 10am -10:45am

We are excited to hold our first worship club for all the young people at church who would love to learn music and how to worship God through music. The club is open to all those in Year 5 upwards, from beginners to those with some experience in playing an instrument. You will have the chance to learn some worship songs and basic music theory on either guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboard or vocals. So that your child can get the most out of taking part in forming a band they would need to commit to coming every Saturday possible.

Community Outreach Activities

In Stitches - Tuesdays, 1:30pm - 3pm
A fun, social group for people who like to stitch. Bring your own knitting, embroidery or another project. If you would like to learn we can teach you!
Bible Encounter - Wednesdays, 10am - 12pm
The group will meet to encourage, pray with one another and explore the Bible, expecting to encounter God through discussions. This is a great seeker-friendly group for those wanting to learn more about the bible.
Baby Club - Thursdays, 10am - 12pm (term time)
Family-focused coffee morning for expectant parents and parents with a new baby. Older siblings are welcome. Come along to this supportive group and connect with others in the community over a cup of tea or coffee.
Encounter Nights - (2nd Monday of each month), 7:30pm - 9pm
On 14th November we will hold our first Encounter Night. We are going to give Jesus the room to come and do what only He can do! We will be spending time in the presence of God, leaning in and learning how to be still and wait upon Him. If you want to go deeper with God and learn to hear His voice more clearly for yourself this is the perfect opportunity.
High Tea - Thursdays (Last Thursday of each month), 2:30pm - 4pm
Come and experience High Tea at The Village Hub. Meet new friends, enjoy some great homemade delicacies while drinking a lovely cup of tea. £3 per head, please book a ticket from The Village Hub in advance.
Thursdays Together - Thursdays when we aren’t hosting High Tea, 2:30pm - 4pm
We would love to see you for a cuppa, come for a game or two, perhaps crafting, or just for a chat. You are very welcome to come along, invite a friend and join in.
Repair Cafe, Saturday 19th November (3rd Saturday of each month), 10am - 12pm
Don't throw away - fix it! Come along with any of your items that need mending.
