Alpha Course

Today’s sessions on the Alpha course, is entitled "How Can I Resist Evil?”,
and we would like to ask the Church to continue to pray for the guests on the course.
Would you pray:
1. Thanks for the movement of the Holy Spirit in our guests last weekend.
2. For consistent attendance and health protection for the group.
3. That today the guests on the Alpha course can be strong in the Lord, and
learn how to stand against the Devil’s schemes.

GROW Sessions - 1 Corinthians 12-14 Study

During our break from our G.I.F.T Groups which will resume in January 2023, we will be running teaching seminars over four weeks on 1 Corinthians 12-14 looking specifically at spiritual gifts. Please come and join us, booking is not required.

Sunday Lunch Club

The churches of Storrington invite you to the Sunday Lunch Club - a chance to gather over a meal and be with friends, old and new. Open to anyone who would otherwise be on their own or who finds the kitchen a challenge. Tickets are available at The Village Hub or Louisa Austin shop in Church Street for £4. We look forward to welcoming you. Lifts can be arranged if required and any offers to help with lifts/driving to enable people to attend this event would still be so welcome. There will be loads of toys for the kids to play with, fun crafts, story & song time as well as a bouncy castle. Tea and coffee is available for the adults and a drink and snack for the toddlers. Entry is £1 per child and if it is your first time it is free. There is no need to book in advance.

Wildfires Youth Club, Year 6+ (Weekly, term time) 7:30pm - 9pm

Youth Worship Club
Saturday Weekly, 10am - 10:45am

The worship club is for all the young people at church who would love to learn music and how to worship God through music. The club is open to all those in Year 5 upwards, from beginners to those with some experience in playing an instrument. You will have the chance to learn some worship songs and basic music theory on either guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboard or vocals. So that your child can get the most out of taking part in forming a band they would need to commit to coming every Saturday possible.

In Stitches - Tuesdays, 1:30pm - 3pm
A fun, social group for people who like to stitch. Bring your own knitting, embroidery or another project. If you would like to learn we can teach you!
Bible Encounter - Wednesdays, 10am - 12pm
The group will meet to encourage, pray with one another and explore the Bible, expecting to encounter God through discussions. This is a great seeker-friendly group for those wanting to learn more about the bible.
Baby Club - Thursdays, 10am - 12pm (term time)
Family-focused coffee morning for expectant parents and parents with a new baby. Older siblings are welcome. Come along to this supportive group and connect with others in the community over a cup of tea or coffee.
High Tea - Thursdays (Last Thursday of each month), 2:30pm - 4pm
Come and experience High Tea at The Village Hub. Meet new friends, enjoy some great homemade delicacies while drinking a lovely cup of tea. £3 per head, please book a ticket from The Village Hub in advance.
Thursdays Together - Thursdays when we aren’t hosting High Tea, 2:30pm - 4pm
We would love to see you for a cuppa, come for a game or two, perhaps crafting, or just for a chat. You are very welcome to come along, invite a friend and join in.
Repair Cafe, Saturday 19th November (3rd Saturday of each month), 10am - 12pm
Don't throw away - fix it! Come along with any of your items that need mending.

Encounter Nights
Monday 14th November, 7:30pm - 9pm (2nd Monday of each month)
Come and join us for our first Encounter Night. We are going to give Jesus the room to come and do what only He can do! We will be spending time in the presence of God, leaning in and learning how to be still and wait upon Him. If you want to go deeper with God and learn to hear His voice more clearly for yourself this is the perfect opportunity.
