The past month has been a whirlwind of activity in our offices and our newsletter will give you insights into some of the work we have been involved in this last month. We couldn't do what we do without your support and want to say thank you!

Young Gypsy, Roma and Traveller people visit the House of Lords
On Monday 25th June, we visited Parliament with 14 young Gypsy, Roma and Traveller people. We took a tour of the House of Lords with Lord Beecham and sat in on question time in the Lords.

We would like to thank Lord Beecham for being so warm and welcoming and for showing us around and a big thanks to Roma Support Group who joined us with young people on the visit!

Looking back at Gypsy Roma Traveller History Month
Over GRTHM we released a celebration of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller culture and history everyday on Twitter and Facebook using the #30daysofGRTHM hastag. Thank you for getting involved! Here are the best bits.

Over the month Crystal's Vardo took to the road with shows in Brighton, London, Luton and Edinburgh and lots more places in between.

One of our highlights was our fun day in Stoneywish, where we celebrated GRTHM and the 70th birthday of the NHS with tea, cake, facepaint in glorious sunshine.

Universal Credit: FFT submission to the Benefit Sanctions Inquiry regarding the impacts of Universal Credit on Gypsies and Travellers. View the submission.

Race Disparity Audit: FFT contribution to the Inquiry into the RDA carried out by the Women and Equalities Committee noted in subsequent report. The submission asks for action on education, site provision and data monitoring. View the submission.
