Dear supporter,

Amy's story shows us how draconian the Government’s Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill is. It could not only criminalise Amy for having nowhere to go, but her and her family's very home and nomadic existence could be stripped away.

If you have already emailed your MP to let them know that you oppose these proposals, thank you. But, the fight is not over.

Here is what else you can do to keep the pressure on:

• Request a meeting with your MP, where you can discuss the changes outlined in the Bill and what they mean to you.
• Read our helpful briefing, which gives a simple rundown of all you need to know about this Bill and its impact on Gypsy and Traveller people.
• Ask others to meet their MP on Facebook, Twitter or WhatsApp and get more people talking to their MPs to have their voices heard.

Friends, Families and Travellers, community members and allies will continue to fight the criminalisation of trespass every step of the way. We hope you will join us.
