Research and Briefings

This month, there are a number of briefings and reports we would like to draw your attention to:
  • Friends, Families and Travellers: '‘We look after our own’: Dementia in Gypsy and Traveller communities'. View the briefing here.
  • NHS England: Annual Report. Find it here.
  • Citizens Advice: 'The roadblock to recovery: How mental health practitioners deal with people’s practical problems in England'. View the report here.
We have begun two pieces of research on Digital Inclusion and on Primary Care in Gypsy and Traveller communities and hope to publish the findings at the end of summer.

Inclusion Health Audit Tool

This month, we launched an Inclusion Health Audit Tool for VCSE organisations.

The online tool allows VCSE organisations to audit and improve their work with the groups in the UK experiencing the worst health inequalities. Upon completion of the tool organisations are given a tailored guide outlining steps they can take to embed action on tackling health inequalities into their organisations everyday activities, as well as resources and tools to make the process as straightforward as possible.

Find out more and take the tool at www.inclusion-health.org
