Dear friends and colleagues,

I hope this email meets you in good health and good spirits.

We've had a whirlwind of a time this Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month - from enjoying all of your amazing contributions throughout the month to finding out that we had won the top prize in the Children and Youth category at the prestigious Charity Awards!

In this month's update, we share some information on our recent work with NHS England on tackling disadvantage in waiting lists for nomadic patients, information on our organisation's continued work challenging the draconian measures in the Government's Policing Bill and much more. Find out what you can do to challenge the Policing Bill here.

Warmest wishes,

  • If you have experience of NHS waiting lists while travelling, share these here.
  • If your organisation has information on this, respond to our call for evidence here.
GP registration for nomadic people during the pandemic
We have been conducting research on registration inequalities for people living nomadically during the pandemic, including for people experiencing digital exclusion. If you have information to share, please get in touch.
