Hello all TAK karate-ka,
Pacific Martial Arts and Trad Am Karate are presenting the Peachtree Hanbo (stick) Seminar together on March 28th at the PMA dojo in Old Town. PMA students usually come to our Holiday Karate Tournament, and this is our opportunity to reciprocate in martial arts activities at their school.
All the instruction will be given by PMA staff. However, Sensei and a few other TAK instructors will do some speaking and provide supervision.
Below is a note PMA's Grandmaster Devine sent out to his students - he recommended that we share it with you. Click here for a printable PDF of the registration flier for more info.
Sincerely in the arts,
Sensei Tyler

Dear Students, this is a wonderful opportunity to take part in an exchange visit with our fellow karate students from the Trad Am Karate dojo of Grandmaster Burk.

It is open to all students aged eight and through adult. Lunch is included, and also for those without the proper hanbo, we will be giving you one.

For our [PMA] students who do not usually get to train in this unique traditional Japanese art form, this is your moment to start learning. Study of the hanbo is required of all students studying for brown or black belt. For those students with experience, this is a chance to gain further insight and knowledge.

Only a few dojos in the US teach this unique activity so seize the moment. The students performing in the photos are PMA students. I sincerely hope that you can join Master Burk and myself as we present this unique event.
Yours in the spirit of better training,
Master Devine
