The March snow survey results of the American River Watershed are in!
The survey showed an average snow depth of 28 inches and an average snow water equivalent of 10.6 inches. This is 42 percent of the 50-year average in the watershed.
Snow surveys provide PCWA with measurements that can be used to plan and optimize PCWA's reservoir operations.
