Decision Delayed on Permanent Water Waste Restrictions
|
|
The State Water Resources Control Board has delayed its hearing for permanent water waste restrictions to April 15, 2018. Although PCWA supports eliminating wasteful practices to the extent possible, the current proposal creates more uncertainty than solutions. PCWA is engaging with regional partners to ensure your investments are protected from regulatory decisions. We also continue to advocate for managing water decisions at the local level and encouraging water efficiency. If approved, the restrictions will be made permanent in July 2018. Stay tuned for more information.
