Dear Clients and Friends,

I am slow to send this letter because in spite of my commitment to heart centered correspondence, this one happens to be filled with actual practice-related information.

The glow from the Baja/MEA experience continues to light the way and resonate throughout my life and work. I feel strongly that the challenges I’ve set for myself this year are becoming more focused and meaningful.

The first and most significant of those is that I’ve chosen to go back to school to receive proper licensure in massage therapy. I don’t have any intention of practicing as an LMT. I want to go deeper into the hands-on energetic work, but having that credential will allow me the freedom to be bigger.

Because of this, my schedule has had to migrate towards afternoons/evenings as I will be in school during the mornings. My new hours are as follows:

Monday: 3:30-7:30
Tuesday: 2-7:30
Thursday 2-7:30
Friday: 2:30-5:30
Sunday: (Brooklyn home visits only) 3:30-7:30

Additionally starting in September, my rates are going to increase. It’s been 7 years since I raised my fees and just like everyone else in small business in NYC, I’ve faced a consistent challenge of keeping pace with business expenses. I know it’s never fun to to see prices go up but please understand that I actively try to keep my rates as low as I can and still maintain a viable practice.

$200 (single session)
$525 (3 sessions for $175), to be used in a 3-month window
$1500 (10 sessions), to be used in a 6-month window

Also, because I have less available client hours, I’m embarking on what I’m calling the Practice Project. (Hint: this is the cliff hanger from the last newsletter.) My intent is to try and share with you all how I actually practice movement, meditation, and energy healing to keep my own body together. I have selected a group of beta testers and we will be working on what will be a series of audio recordings that include mix of all the quirky stuff that I do to keep all of our bodies together. The idea for the recordings is to help us all continue to grow our practices and also to widen exposure to the work.

And finally, I want to introduce you to my colleague, friend and studiomate Renee Orona. As I transition toward the manual therapy work (IMT, Cranio, Yoga, Reiki, etc.), I encourage you to make the connection with Renee (, 917-470-0712). She is a genius and she is in the same family as I am when it comes to movement theory and philosophy. Our two offerings are complementary and pretty much unstoppable when it comes to supporting health.

So with all of that, I hope to see you all this spring and summer. Because of school I will be solidly in the studio through August 17th.

My next letter will be more reflective, I promise. I will need that break from the rigors of constant memorization.

With folded palms,

See You Soon.

I'm really hoping you'll come have a session at Kinetic Body Lab (41 Union Square West at 17th Street).

For those of you who are new to me, sessions are something like movement, something like mysticism.

Here are my hours and a link to MINDBODY to schedule.

Monday: 3:30pm – 7:30pm
Tuesday: 2pm – 8:30pm
Wednesday: 9am – 2:30pm
Thursday: 5:30pm – 8:30pm

Starting May 3!
Friday:  2:30pm – 5:30pm

I'm here for you.
