Countway Reimagined

The reopening of Countway Library has been an evolution to say the least, and we are excited to welcome you to your new library! Each week something new becomes more fully developed and the building is evolving into a vital and necessary part of Longwood Campus life. Read about some of our most innovative updates, and stay tuned for regular news announcements from your friendly Countway crew!

New at Countway

The Countway Connection Café and the Countway Coop will both open on Monday, September 20th inside the Huntington Avenue atrium. The Coop will offer merchandise for all three Longwood Campus schools, and the Café will feature a barista and grab-and-go food options. As a reminder, all building safety protocols will remain in effect: face masks are required at all times, and eating and drinking are prohibited inside the library itself.

A Garden Grows in Longwood

Open daily from 6am-8pm, the Countway Community Garden is a little oasis on the Longwood Campus. Come stroll through the beautiful raised beds, eat your lunch at one of many umbrella-shaded tables, or request to hold your next event in the garden!

New Spanish Language Resources

Countway Library has acquired a subscription to AccessMedicina, a Spanish language resource that features leading medical content, textbooks, a multimedia library of videos, patient safety modules, audio files, and animations, self-assessment, algorithms, case studies, and more!

Feeling stressed? Come take a break with us!

As a way to combat burnout, stress, and anxiety, the library provides Countway Cuddles. During these events, community members can pet and play with trained therapy dogs in our newly-constructed “Canine Corner.” Drop in to one of several sessions this month!
