Youth and Community Fishing
Saturday 13th March
The annual Youth and Community Fishing day takes place this Saturday the 13th March.  This will mean there will be a lot of activity and boats in the carpark from 6.30 am until just after 8.30am when the boats hit the water.
This is a fantastic day for the club, participants and the community.  Later in the day there will be helicopter rides in the Waimea car park  This won’t affect boat retrieval and launching, but you won’t be able to park there from Friday night.
The area will be busy, but we will do our best to minimise disruption to normal boating/fishing activity. We ask members who wish to launch to access the boat ramp from Waimea Road and exit from the club. If it suits, members will find less disruption if they launch prior to 8am.

Members fishing on this day we would recommend either launching before 8am or after 9am.
There will be traffic management in place to ensure smooth launching and safety for everyone. Thanks in advance for everyone’s cooperation.
