PPREPaRE: PARTNERS IN PEDIATRIC READINESS, EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS, AND RESPONSE EDUCATION
We invite you to: PPREPaRE: PARTNERS IN PEDIATRIC READINESS, EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS, AND RESPONSE EDUCATION, a training program that is happening on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, from 9am to 1pm eastern time. We're calling all pediatric emergency care coordinators, and parents and caregivers of children with complex needs to attend this training. This highly interactive virtual training brings together families and pediatric emergency care coordinators to learn from each other, build trust, practice real life skills and effective and efficient communication during an emergency, and foster connection to improve emergency preparedness and response for children with complex needs in Pennsylvania. This training is presented by the Boston University School of Social Work’s Center for Innovation and Social Work in Health, St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, HUNE, Drexel University, the PEAL Center, and Emergency Medical Services for Children in Pennsylvania. For more information, please contact Libbi Ethier, the program manager of this project, at lethier@bu.edu. This project is supported by HRSA of the US Department of Health and Human Services.
