Why? As part of the 2016-2017, we are embracing technology to grow our congregation, using's guidance on communication, growth and media tools. This was determined by the board as a goal for our congregation, and is reflected in the 2016-2017 Growth & Marketing Plan in our budget. More to come! Support this effort by sharing our updates and info through your social media to your comfort level.

Summer Services: It's a Wrap!

Our 2017 July & August Summersong Series is now complete, with our congregation coming together to wrap up the summer with a Potluck & Book Share on August 27th. Regular services, with children's care and education resume next week on September, 3, 2017 at 11am. Sundays services are at 11am, followed by refreshments and fellowship.
More info on the Sept 3rd service topic to come in next week's newsletter. 

  • On-going: UUCF collects toiletries for Fayetteville Urban Ministries. Donations welcome. 
  • On-going: Wednesdays at 6:30pm is Religious Exploration for Adults, hosted by Kent Smith at 115 Hale St, Fayetteville. Coffee, refreshments and conversation. Children welcome for independent play.
  • Thank you for all the school supply donations for DSS! The evening was amazing for the children - From Rachel Hertle
  • Susan and Elliott Gyaben are hosting a team for the Fort Brag 5K run/walk for any who would like to join them.

Transgender Safe Haven

Transgender Safe Haven Support Groups meetings are Saturdays at 2pm, beginning Sept 2nd at UUCF 669 Country Club Dr. They are also looking for crisis hotline volunteers. Training will be provided. Contact Storm Silvermane.

NOW: Birth Rights Salon

Fayetteville Chapter of NOW is hosting a salon on September 2, 2017, 2pm-5pm at 2724 Altgero Ave. The topic of this salon is "Birth Rights". These Salons aim to promote thoughtful discussion and point to activism opportunities around a variety of feminist topics.
