October 15, 2017 Service: Forest Bathing

Please join us at UUCF on October 15th at 11am for our Sunday service entitled “Forest Bathing.”

UUCF Member Susan Gyaben will talk with us about the spiritual, emotional, and health benefits of meditating in nature.

Our speaker: Susan Gyaben has been a Unitarian Universalist for over 20 years, attending UU churches in the six states where she has resided. She is a returned Peace Corps Volunteer, having served in Ghana, West Africa in the early 90s where she met her husband, John, an African native. Susan has a Master’s Degree in Public Health and a keen interest in topics of health. Susan is currently a military spouse, caring for her husband and 12 year old son, Elliott, while residing on Fort Bragg, NC. Service is followed by refreshments and discussion. Child care is available. You are welcome here!
