As our community works together to slow the spread of COVID-19, JCLS library buildings are closed--but many of the library resources and services you value remain open and available to you anytime, anywhere.
Our staff is creating, curating, and expanding patron access to online content, including new staff booklists featuring all-digital content, virtual storytimes to enjoy at home, and free online programs through Zoom.
Digital Services specialists are available to answer your technology-related questions by email at techsupport@jcls.org. You can also email to request a virtual appointment with the Digital Services team to get in-person help accessing our online resources.
Be sure to update your email subscription preferences or visit the JCLS Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram accounts to stay connected to everything your Library offers.

Celebrate National Library Week

Find the Library at Your Place
National Library Week is always a time to celebrate libraries, library workers, and promote library resources. This year’s theme was Find Your Place at the Library. When the nation’s libraries closed due to the pandemic, Find the Library at Your Place became the adapted theme to align with our current situation of staying at home. This adaptation reflects the essence of your library: it is continuously adapting and growing to respond to changing technologies, new and emerging resources, and how you – our patrons – need and want to use the library.
To help you Find the Library at Your Place, library workers will be hiding books around Jackson County for you to find and enjoy throughout National Library Week. So take a walk, look around, see what you’ll find.
