Reformation Day Service

The Council of Lutheran Churches invites you to a service to mark the start of the Lutheran Reformation, held on the anniversary of when it is thought Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the church door. The service will be led by Bishop Tor Berger Jørgensen, CLC Chair and Bishop of the LCiGB. ILSC Book Club

Real Life by Brandon Taylor is what we're reading this month. Described as a campus novel and a coming-of-age novel, the partly autobiographical book tells of the experiences of a gay, Black doctoral student in a predominantly White, Midwestern PhD program. We'll come together (online!) to share our thoughts!

Morning Prayer

In the ‘before-corona-times’ we regularly held Lutheran Sung Morning Prayer at the ILSC. I greatly miss this time we had to begin the day in prayer alongside others. However, now that we are able to come together from farther afield, I thought we would extend our invitation to our worldwide family. If you would like to join us for Morning prayer, we will be meeting on Zoom every Tuesday at 8.30am.
