A different kind of ILSC?

Sadly, we all know that the ILSC housing is closing down at the end of June. The residents are who the ILSC is and we will greatly miss this unique community. However, there may be an opportunity for the chaplaincy to continue working in Bloomsbury and creating a 'community centre' for students studying in London. I would greatly value the input of ILSC residents (past and present) and friends of the ILSC to hear what you think this kind of new place could be? What are the best bits of the ILSC that we can continue to provide for students in a new way?

There will be two Zoom meetings taking place (links below). If you are unable to take part, there is a questionnaire below to add some comments.
I hope you will join us!

Month of June

ILSC Book Club

This month we're reading The Incredible Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera which 'tells the story of a young woman in love with a man torn between his love for her and his incorrigible womanizing and one of his mistresses and her humbly faithful lover. This magnificent novel juxtaposes geographically distant places, brilliant and playful reflections, and a variety of styles, to take its place as perhaps the major achievement of one of the world’s truly great writers.'
We'll meet on the first Tuesday in July to share our impressions of the book!
