ILSC Book Club

May's book is West with the Night a 1942 memoir by Beryl Markham, chronicling her experiences growing up in Kenya (then British East Africa) in the early 1900s, leading to celebrated careers as a racehorse trainer and bush pilot there.
Join us on 7 June to discuss your thoughts! Whether you've read a little or a lot, we all have something to share. Upcoming reads:

This weekend

Re-discovering London!

Time Out London says that to have a really great weekend in London, you must include these five elements, in no particular order: a food thing, an art thing, a market thing, a performance thing and a pub/club thing - and they've put together a listing for this week in case we'd forgotten where to do all those things! And for those of us who feel a bit overwhelmed and want to ease into being around other human beings again, why not check out these peaceful places (note: Poetry LIbrary is still closed).

Feeling a bit ...?

Many of us are feeling a bit weary and fed-up at the moment and may just need some space to talk. If you're feeling a bit down or anxious or sad or on edge or a bit lost in the midst of everything going on around you - remember that the chaplain is here to provide support for you. Feel free to get in touch over the phone or email if you'd like to schedule a time to talk.
