Message from DG Bill Grile:

"So much for the minimally invasive valve-job I’d been expecting. That’s off. But on February 5th I’ll be having open heart surgery and a procedure called “The Gold Standard” for valve replacement. Surgeon Dr. Howard Song has done over 4000 heart surgeries. The internet reports that Yale/Stanford educated Dr. Song knew he wanted to be a surgeon when he was in third grade. When I was in third grade, I knew I wanted a comic book and new bicycle. Stay tuned for updates!

Vice governor Dell Gray will be functioning as District Governor during my recovery time. I’ll be missing in action for a couple months but hope to get my “spring” back as quickly as physically possible."
