Thank you to our own Michael Cottam for speaking to our club at last week's meeting. Michael showed us how to react when having a zoom meeting hijacked (zoom bombing) and also how to eliminate having our social media accounts from being hijacked.

Last week, Past District Governor Cindi O'Neil held a special zoom meeting to announce the 2020-21 District Awards. The Greater Bend Rotary Club was well represented with awards in three areas:

1. Michael Cottam for Outstanding Rotarian in Public Image

2. Tom Combs for Outstanding Rotarian in Community Service

3. Erik Tobiason for the District Avenues of Service to Community.

Governor Cindi made an appearance at the Veterans Village build on Sept. 11 to personally provide the awards to Erik and Tom.

Congratulations to all three, some of the hardest working Rotarians in our club!

President Gary has set a goal for our club's donations to The Rotary Foundation and is tracking it weekly. You can set up to have a monthly or quarterly amount deducted automatically from your bank account, or make an annual donation. You can donate at a weekly meeting or go online to make your donation.
